Man vs. Woman
Over the years, there have been many great feuds between a strong male and an equally strong female. Think Obama vs. Hillary, Merlin vs. Madame Mim,... and Chuck vs. Blair. Yes, the two Gossip Girl characters are at it again. As of Monday night's episode, "A touch of Eva", the former lovers are at war. Not that this is something unheard of. Some of the best episodes of Gossip Girl have revolved around Chuck and Blair fighting, and Monday seemed just like a continuation of their petty feuds. Their relationship is at a pretty... complicated point: Chuck had sold Blair out to his uncle for a business deal, and just when she was about to forgive him, he slept with her arch-enemy. Over the summer, Chuck fell in love with Eva and brought her back to New York from Paris. Blair couldn't take seeing him with another woman and set Eva up, so that Chuck basically kicked her out. As bad as that seems, it's clear for viewers that Blair acted out of love, so Chuck's hateful confrontation at the very end is just plain scary: "This means war, Blair. Me versus you. No limits." In other words: it is ON. Check out next week's episode "Goodbye Columbia" Monday, Oct.11, at 9 pm on The CW.

OMG- Gossip Girl is back!
Tonight is the night- Gossip Girl returns for its fourth season at 9pm on the WB. AND IT'S ABOUT TIME! For those of you who don't remember (whoever that might be), the season three finale left us with nothing but huge cliffhangers. Let's start with the most shocking one: Chuck Bass was shot! Then there is the fact that Dan might or might not become a father, and as a cherry on top, the first two episodes of season four take place in Paris. Can't get your loved ones to watch with you? Just sell tonight's premiere as a great educational opportunity to learn about French culture, or as a cheap way to get to see one of Europe's most beautiful cities. Are you a GG-virgin and wondering how to get into the show now that it's already been going on for three years? Not to worry: televisionwithoutpity.com offers great recaps and recaplets of every episode aired so far. Go here to read what has been going on. No time for that? Let me put it as simple as possible. A group of gorgeous, filthy-rich kids meander around New York City and create a lot of drama. There's bad boy Chuck who traded his girlfriend in for a hotel, Blair, said girlfriend who is better known as Queen B and scene-stealer deluxe, Serena who is very blond and very popular, and Nate, the golden boy who... tags along being pretty. There are furthermore some people living in Brooklyn and trying to keep up with the Upper East Side characters, but they aren't half as interesting. The scripts are really well written, and the lead characters display a surprising amount of depth. Add in a great soundtrack and loads of gorgeous NYC (or Paris) shots, and there is no reason NOT to be watching tonight!
