What To Watch

Fall season is TV show season, with old favorites coming back for more, and lots of exciting newbies. While there are numerous car wrecks that should be avoided at any cost -how about doing calculus homework instead? or knitting?- some of the new shows coming to your screens in just a few days look quite promising. While not all of them will survive long enough to even remember the characters' names, here are suggestions for What To Watch this fall. The selection process has been completely subjective. If you disagree and have picks that are a million times more entertaining, let's hear them!

UNDERCOVERS
A mix between 'Alias' and 'Mr. and Mrs Smith', this spy show looks thrilling. A big plus is that it has J.J. Abrams on board, the mastermind behind fellow spy saga 'Alias' and 'Lost'. Not sure yet whether to tune in? Both the male and the female lead in 'Undercovers' are pretty nice to look at, too.

'Undercovers' premieres Wednesday, September 22, on NBC.

NO ORDINARY FAMILY
If you liked Disney's The Incredibles but consider yourself too old to watch an animated movie, this could be an alternative. N.O.F. is the story of a completely ordinary family that receives super powers after a plane crash.

'No Ordinary Family' premieres Tuesday, September 28, on ABC.

HELLCATS
Everyone needs a guilty pleasure. Depending on how much you want to switch your brain off when relaxing in front of the TV, this show about Cheerleaders might be for you. Here's to hoping for cool cheer routines!

'Hellcats' premieres Wednesday, September 8, on The CW.
